After planning her high school senior class trip (for 22 people) abroad, Meredith knew that travel planning was in her blood. While attending Clemson Unviersity, she studied abroad in Sydney, Australia, where she traveled the country extensively! After graduating University, she spent 8 months as an au pair in Milan, Italy exploring Europe on the weekends. She spent the next 2 years working in marketing at a boutique real estate office in Charlotte, NC. She and her husband (Kirk) got the opportunity to move to Oahu, Hawaii, where she continued her real estate career! After 3 years in Hawaii, they moved back to Greenville, SC where they now reside with their son, Luca.

MOST MEMORABLE TRAVEL EXPERIENCE?
The most unique is soaking in onsens with Japanese women in a small town outside of Nagano, surrounded by snow monkeys. BUT the most memorable--that would have to be walking through the medina in Marrakech. You truly can't explain the sensory overload one experiences in a 10 second period! Definitely something to be experienced and not explained.

I could write a whole blog post on travel tricks but this is my recent favorite: GOOGLE TRANSLATE APP.
If you're traveling to a country that speaks another language, download that language in the Google Translate App. It works without Wifi and doesn't use data! You can hold it up to an written sign and it will live translate it for you. You can also type in English and it will translate to the foreign language, then speak it out loud!
